In short, a check is a group of rules, and each check can include one or more rules. A rule is a configuration that can be used to check a specific use case, for example, if all external doors have the required clearance box around them. Multiple different clearance rules can then be gathered into a check. However, a check doesn’t necessarily need to include similar rules.
In the Solibri Inside Plugin, you can only run checks. Checks are created and managed in the Solibri Inside Editor. To access the Editor, you need to have a registered account. For full access on all Solibri Inside features, you need to be on a paid Premium plan. For more information on plans, please see the Solibri Inside website.
By default, you have access to the free example checks created by Solibri. You can see the free checks when you open the Solibri Inside Plugin in your design tool. You can then run these checks and view the results. This is how checks look in the Plugin:
